What is the minimum order quantity?

There is no minimum order quantity. You can order a single item, regardless if it is a single transfer for testing or thousands for production. You pay per centimeter, and can see the live pricing in our sheet builder.

What's the difference between DTF transfers and UV-DTF stickers?

DTF transfers are suitable for textile, while UV-DTF stickers are suitable for hard surfaced materials such as glass, metals and wood.

What's the difference between individual transfers and a gang sheet?

Accepted Answer

For individual transfers or multiple designs a gang sheet is perfect to reduce costs. Combine all designs on a single sheet, save space and save money.

Can I combine different designs on a gang sheet?

Yes of course. Open our sheet builder and combine unlimited designs on a single sheet.  Logos, names and sizes can all be combined.

Do I have to make a gang sheet upfront?

You don't need to create the sheet upfront. You can upload your individual design and if you need help building the sheet, we're happy to assist.

Are there any surcharges or costs for the set-up or checking the files?

No. What you see is what you get. No surcharges, not set-up costs. Does anything seem off in the gang sheet builder or during your check out process? Please contact our team before submimtting the order.

Can I test the quality upfront?

Yes. You can request a free sample box with DTF and UV-DTF samples. This gives you the option to test the materiala, color and application upfront.

What file types can I submit?

For DTF, you can use PNG, JPEG, PDF, AI, EPS and SVG files. For UV-DTF, a vector file is needed, so you would need AI, EPS or SVG. It's best to submit your designs with the actual size you want to print them in. 300 DPI is advised, but you can of course check our complete submission specs below.

What happens if my file is not correct?

We do a free check on all files before we start production. If we see an issue with your file before production, or if we have any doubts about it, we will inform you upfront and you can decide whether you want to proceed with the files submitted or prefer to upload new files.

Can I upload an RGB PNG, or does everything have to be CMYK?

We prefer CMYK files in the actual print size with 300 DPI. If you only have access to a RGB PNG file you can upload it of course. We will check the file, but please keep in mind that screen colors and print colors will have a small color deviation because the files are built up in a different way.

Does my file need a transparant background?

Yes, for most DTF designs a transparent background is important. A white or coloured background will get printed along with the design. Not sure? Upload your file and we will check and get back to you.

Do I need to mirror my design?

No need to mirror designs. Please submit them as you would like to see them printed. Our RIP software will process the files correctly before production.

Is there a limit to the amount of colors I can use?

Transfers are printed in full-color. Gold, silver and neon colors can not be printed with DTF. .

How do I submit designs that contain white?

Submit prints that contain white with the white color included. There's no need to add a background color or a second layer.

How does a colored print look on dark fabrics?

A white layer is printed underneath the DTF print. This is done to ensure your designs look sharp and clear, even on dark textiles. Any doubts? Order a free sample box.

Can you guarantee prints in pantone colors?

DTF is printed in full color. The colors can vary because of screen settings, file type, material and the surface underneath. Do you have a color that is critical to your brand? Test it with a sample first, or contact us upfront

Most of the times yes, but it depends of course on the details. If you're doubting upload your design or send it via email so we can check the files.

You are responsible for the rights to the designs you upload. We advise to only upload designs that you have been given permission to print.

When does my order go into production?

Production starts as soon as your file has been approved. When you order your DTF before 12:00 on a business day with an approved file, we will produce and ship it the same day. UV-DTF has a production time of five business days.

How fast can. I receive my order?

In the Netherlands, DTF orders are usually delivered on the next business day after shipment when ordered before 12:00. For Belgium, Germany and other European destinations, average delivery is 2–3 business days. You can see the expected delivery date at checkout.

Do you ship throughout Europe?

Yes. We ship throughout Europe. Netherlands: PostNL, next business day when ordered before 12:00 (€7.95 excl. VAT). Other European countries: FedEx, on average 2–3 business days (€9.95 excl. VAT).

What is the delivery time for UV-DTF?

UV-DTF stickers have a production time of five business days. The same turnaround times apply for DTF and DTF-UV. Next business day in the Netherlands and 2–3 business days for the rest of Europe.

Yes. As soon as your order has been despatched, you will receive the tracking information via email, so you can track your order.

Can I still change or cancel my order?

Contact us as soon as possible after having placed the order. As long as your order has not entered into the production process, we can see what's possible. Once production has started, we can no longer guarantee changes.

Can I collect my order at the production lccation?

Of course! When checking out, you can either choose delivery to your address or pickup in Maassluis. Pickup of course is free and you will be notified once the order is ready.

Do I need a heat press?

Accepted Answer

For the best and most consistent result, use a heat press with adjustable temperature and pressure. Don't use the iron you have at home for applying DTF transfers as it does not have enough pressure and heat.

At what temperature and for how long should I press?

For our standard DTF transfers: 140–145°C, 10 seconds, with a firm press and even pressure of around 3–4 bar. Read our full DTF transfer application instructions below.

Should I peel the sheet off whilst still hot or wait unless it's cooled down?

Our DTF transfers are hot-peel. Remove the film while it is still warm after pressing. Then press again for 10 seconds for a softer, more matte and more durable print.

Do I need to pre-press the garment?

Pre-pressing is not needed. Make sure the garment is dry, clean and free of creases before applying the transfer.

Which fabrics work best with DTF transfers?

DTF can be used on cotton, cotton blends, polyester, canvas tote bags and fleece. 
We advise to do a test run on nylon, soft shell material and imitation leather.

Can I apply DTF on top of an existing print?

Accepted Answer

No. DTF tranfers only work on a surface without any print on it. IF you do, the print will come off faster DTF does not work to cover up other prints.

Why is my transfer coming off?

Accepted Answer

That is usually caused by too little pressure, too low temperature, or peeling the transfer off too early. To prevent this, put the film back, increase the pressure and press for another 5–8 seconds. Also make sure that your press reaches the required temperature.

Why do I see a grey haze or silvering?

Accepted Answer

Silvering often comes when applying too little pressure or an when the pressing surface is not even. To prevent this, Use a flat, firm underlay and increase the pressure.

Can I press DTF over a zipper, seam or an uneven surface?

We do not recommend it. A zipper, thick seam or unevenness causes uneven pressure and can damage the print. Choose a flat part of the garment or use a suitable pressing pillow.

How should I wash garments with DTF transfers?

Wash them inside out at a maximum temperature  of 40°C, without fabric softener. Do not tumble dry the garment, and wait 48 hours before washing them the first time.

What is the best way for storing my DTFD transfers?

Store the transfers in a cool, dry, flat place, away from direct sunlight. This prevents the transfers from curving, getting sticky and fading of the colors.

How long do DTF transfers last?

When using the correct settings for applying the transfers and following the washing instructions, a DTF transfer will last long. The lifespan of course depends on the material, use, amount of washes and how careful the transfer was applied.

We do not recommend using a tumble dryer for garments with DTF prints on them.

Does a DTF print feel like a sticker or plastic?

A correctly applied DTF print feels thin, soft and flexible. A post-press helps to make the print softer and will give it a more matte feel.

What is UV-DTF?

UV-DTF stickers are full-colour stickers for smooth, hard surfaced materials like glass, plastic, metal and wood. You do not need a heat press: you can easily apply the transfer to the product.

On which materials does UV-DTF work best?

UV-DTF works best on clean, smooth and hard surfaces. To apply, first make sure the surface is clean, grease-free and dry. We advise to always do a test upfront on rough, highly curved or porous materials.

Is UV-DTF dishwasher-proof?

No. UV-DTF stickers are not dishwasher-proof. We advise to rinse the product by hand to keep the transfer looking good for as long as possible.

Can I reposition UV-DTF after applying it?

No. Position it carefully, because you only have one chance. Make sure you are certain of the position of your DTF and make sure it's leveled straight.

How do I apply UV-DTF?

Degrease the surface. Rub a card over the back, slowly remove the backing, position the transfer and press it down firmly from the inside out. Then carefully remove the film.

Can UV-DTF be used outdoors?

UV-DTF is durable, but exposure to sun, water, scratches and intensive use will affect the lifespan. For outdoor use or for products used intensive, we advise to always test it upfront.
